MKBHD’s New Wallpapers App: Panels Review

Tech YouTuber MKBHD recently released a new app called Panels, which provides mobile background images for both Android and iPhone. Instead, the app offers its users the selection of hundreds of wallpapers to choose from; however, for free, ad-supported option is available with low-quality (1080p) images. For full quality and no ads, the subscription is available for either $49. 99 annually or $11. 99 per month.

However, after the official release the app has received criticism regarding its price and the highly invasive free version that is filled with ads. A notable number of the users were unhappy with what they perceived as excessive costs compared to the number of offerings that exist for free out there While others complained about the application’s aggressive data collection policies.

The app at the beginning was designed to allegedly require specific permission for location and usage data and was associated with privacy issues. MKBHD has replied that they shall remove these problems and as well, lessen the number of adverts for those people that use the site for free. He also plans to release weekly “Friday drops” of free high-quality wallpapers to give free users more benefits and make paid users feel they’re getting their money’s worth.

But, the app received much criticism, and yet it quickly rose to the top and received attention and was placed high on app stores, revealing that would actually be quite popular even if people criticized it at the start.http://Is MKBHD Charging $50 For Phone Wallpapers?
